Team Vitality Announces 3
Team Vitality and Hummel unveiled their new black and yellow jersey for 2023 today (January 10).
Team Vitality, the French esports team that stormed to victory over Team Liquid in the final of ESL Pro League Season 16 last October, has announced a three-year partnership Hummel, which will see the Danish brand producing the team's jerseys and sportswear through 2025.
Coming off the back of its huge win in the CS:GO championship when it finally debuted in Malta after a years-long wait, Team Vitality hopes to galvanize its squads in 2023 with its "Let's play together!" campaign, aiming to reflect the values of team spirit and performance valued by the two companies–something further underlined by the pair's fortuitous sharing of bee logos.
The 2023 Team Vitality jersey combines its traditional yellow and black colours with Hummel's textbook chevron designs, while fans will soon be able to buy a jogging suit and jacket to complete their "pro kit." Team Vitality has also promised anniversary and event jerseys released throughout 2023.

While Hummel has enjoyed a cult following for most of its 100-year history–and high-profile partnerships with Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton FC–it became internationally recognized with its sponsorship of the Danish national soccer team which, in 1992, shocked the world of football by winning Euro 1992 in one of the most iconic shirts of all time.
Elsewhere in the esports sector, and perhaps unsurprisingly, Hummel also sponsors Danish team Astralis, as well as two other Astralis-owned squads in Origen (League of Legends) and Future FC (FIFA); this partnership was also recently extended to 2025, signalling Hummel's commitment to the industry.
Allan Vad Nielsen, Hummel's CEO, said: "The esports industry is experiencing tremendous growth, not only in terms of active players and fan communities but also the associated merchandise market. That's also why we are extremely proud to join forces with Team Vitality, which is among the best in the world and enjoys a massive fan base both domestically and globally. We’re truly impressed by their professionalism and performance, and we look forward to developing our partnership to the benefit of our respective communities."
Nicolas Maurer, the CEO and co-founder of Team Vitality, added: "It is a privilege to be able to write the story of our tenth year together and around strong esports values. We will do our best to make 2023 an exceptional year for our players and to make this collaboration shine in the best international competitions."
