adidas Presents The New Italy Football Jerseys

adidas has just unveiled the all-new Italy international football jerseys, and the kits come with matching pre-match garments that represent the history of Italia.

On January 1, the Three Stripe became the official partner of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). This will see the sports giant design all of the international team jerseys — including men's, women's, youth, futsal, beach soccer, and e-sports — and now, the first "The Search — La Ricerca" collection is ready.

The drop pays homage to the Azzure — an Italian translation of "The Blues" — with each jersey featuring marble detailing, a natural, geographical, and cultural element that represents the nation of Italia. Additionally, the capsule also aims to enhance Italian football history and the identity of the country by integrating moments of the past and present along with plans for the future.

Featuring Italian ballers Donnarumma, Rosucci, Del Piero, and artist Blanco, the campaign sees the collective alongside the new home kit which comes coated in a blue base color. More detailing comes in the form of marble elements that are replicated on the fabric through a combination of by-hand craftsmanship and new-school tailoring techniques.

Furthermore, Tricolor details are applied to the shoulders, while an intricate borderline has been added to each of the adidas stripes to recreate the colors of the Italian flag. Finally, the back of the collar features the word "Italia," completely customized with a clear reference to Roman engravings — the same approach used in the lettering of the players’ names and jersey numbering.

The away jersey is also strongly inspired by marble, however, the base of the kit is taken over by an "Off White" hue. Clear references to its raw material are included, all of which are highlighted by the kit's graphic detailing in navy blue and gold veining.

Both kits — which are made from 100% recycled materials — are created using HEAT.DRY technology used to increase player comfort and breathability on the pitch. The wider range complements the core jerseys, too; with pieces including an Anthem Jacket, created with a double-sided design, while the pre-game products are coated in more colors that are connected to the Italian Tricolor.
