Kardashian critics blast Kourtney for wearing 'offensive and gross' jersey during outing with husband Travis Barker

KOURTNEY Kardashian has been slammed for wearing what critics called a "gross" outfit earlier this week.

Kourtney, 44, and her husband, Travis Barker, were pictured leaving a Greek restaurant, Taverna Tony, in Malibu on Friday evening.

The duo had dressed down for their date night as Travis, 47, opted for a pair of black cropped pants that he paired with a white T-shirt and a casual black jacket.

The Blink-182 drummer completed his look with a black beanie hat and held hands with mom-of-three Kourtney as they made their way to their vehicle.

The Lemme founder opted to go pantless and flashed her bare legs in an oversized Chicago Blackhawks Jersey.

She paired the red, white, and black garment with chunky leather boots and a long black overcoat and wore her brunette hair tied back into a ponytail.

The couple jumped into Travis' black Mercedes as they headed home.

But many people were unimpressed with Kourtney's choice of attire because the jersey featured the team's logo of a Native American head.

There has been much recent controversy surrounding the name and logo of the Chicago Blackhawks, a National Hockey League (NHL) ice hockey team based in Chicago, Illinois.

When the photos of Kourtney and Travis were shared to Reddit, people were quick to comment.

"I love Kourtney and I love hockey - but this is NOT it," one person wrote.

Another said: "Ain't no way Kourtney confidently wore that jersey. That's insane."

"Alight Kourtney I see your hawks jersey," a third person commented, while a fourth added: "Ugh Kourtney's top."

One Reddit user defended Kourtney and argued: "It's a hockey logo," to which the same person responded and wrote: "I understand it's sports but it's still gross."

Another person seemed confused and simply asked: "Why is kourtney in a Blackhawks jersey."

Someone else replied and claimed: "She just grabs a shirt from Travis's closet and pairs it with high socks and creepers everyday. Sometimes baggy pants, sometimes the shirt is the dress."

A different person joked: "It's from their costume closet."

Another Reddit user claimed: "When Blink was on tour, they would post the jerseys they received at every stadium stop. I’d assume Travis got this from the Chicago shows."

Earlier this week, fans begged Kourtney to return to her old fashion style and ditch her new punk look.

Her followers were promoted after she shared a throwback snapshot of herself in a bright and colorful wardrobe.

In the Instagram collection from 2019, The Kardashians star stunned in an eye-catching top with yellow and reddish straps.

The Poosh founder donned ripped jeans with bright blue sandals.

She also flaunted her bare feet and showed off her orange-ish toenails.

Kourtney leaned against the mirrored wall as her dark hair flowed down her shoulders.

She simply captioned the post: "Portofino, Italy August 2019."

Fans jumped to the comments section and pleaded with the Hulu star to reprise her previous chic style.

"When you were like yourself and not your boyfriend's Xerox copy," one person joked.

Another added: "Back when you were stunning and yourself. Not this punk Kourtney you're trying to be."

A third user mentioned: "Bring this style back please!"

A fan added: "I loved her style, and she was such an inspiration fashion-wise back in the days.
