LIV Golf players won't wear league's logo at The Masters

The players from LIV Golf have "agreed not to wear the logo of the Saudi-funded circuit" at this week's Masters Tournament, as there reportedly "was a meeting between the 18 LIV golfers in this field who are contracted to Greg Norman's league where they decided to ditch the branding on their bags, shorts and caps 'out of respect to the tournament.'" Those without existing deals with apparel sponsors "will still don their LIV team outfits" but for this week at least the main LIV logo "will stay in the wrappers." It is "unclear if Augusta National requested this move" (London TELEGRAPH, 4/3).

Meanwhile, clothing brand Extracurricular "will be sponsoring" Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces team going forward. Johnson was seen wearing the logo on his shirt today. The brand was "started by one of the founders of Travis Mathew," which is heavily involved in golf (TWITTER, 4/3). Mexico-based oil company Akron also is a sponsor of the Fireballs GC LIV team (SBJ).
