CLEVELAND, Ohio — Unlike most sports, football lacks options to play the game in its full form outside of a sanctioned high school season.
That became a focal point in former USFL president Brian Woods’ plan to create the Prep Super League, which is set to launch next spring nationally as a way to develop high school-aged football players for college recruiting with opportunities to make money through name, image and likeness (NIL).
