WVU Baseball Unveils New Uniforms for 2023 Season

Even though Sprig is not officially here just yet, the first sign of the changing of the seasons is baseball being played.

And as the West Virginia baseball team opens up their 2023 season by taking the mound Friday night on the road against Georgia Southern, the Mountaineers will have a new look to go along with a new year.

The WVU baseball and WVU Sports Twitter accounts unveiled new uniforms Randy Mazey's team will wear this season. Their new threads are not drastic changes to what fans saw the team wear in recent seasons, but will offer a fresh vibe for this group of players.

One version includes an all white on white look with "Mountaineers" in blue and gold highlighting on the front of the jersey. The other option has a WVU style gold jersey with blue lettering for Mountaineers and the player's number. The Mountaineers will wear a blue hat with a gold brim and a gold flying WV logo.

WVU baseball is now living out the "you play as good as you look and feel" saying.
